Educator’s Guide for Healthy Relationships, Sexuality & Autism Youth Program
This resource is about more than teaching sexuality and relationship education; it’s about giving Autistic students the tools, confidence, and language to navigate relationships, identity, and consent in safe and affirming ways. We hope it will equip educators with the tools they need to approach these subjects from an equity-lens and to create safer, more inclusive classrooms.
This project has been made possible through our partnership with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Together, we are building a resource that ensures Autistic youth are not left out of these critical conversations. What you’ll see today is a first glimpse. This resource is still developing, and your role as educators is central. Your ideas, feedback, and leadership will help us bring this resource to the classroom in a way that is useful.
